Kernex - KEC consortium receives LOA for KAVACH project

The "North Central Railways, Prayagraj" has issued a letter of Acceptance (LOA) to KERNEX- KEC CONSORTIUM for the project viz, for Provision of KAVACH (Train Collision Avoidance System), along with Tower and 4X48 fibre OFC as a backbone on SHUTESHWAR (INCL) - DHOLPUR (INCL) Section in North Central Railway (Tender No. NCR-SnTEPCKAVACHBTSR-DHO) ("Project")

The accepted Sid cost for the project is Rs. 85.14 Crores (Incl. GST@18%)

The Completion period is 500 days from the date of LoA.

The total value of the all the Kavach contracts to date (from April 2024 to till date) is Rs. 2,470.25 Crores.

Shares of Kernex Microsystems (India) Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 776.15 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 802.80. The total number of shares traded during the day was 28975 in over 1629 trades.
