Net Profit After Tax (PAT): Expanded 31.2% year-on-year to ₹33.2 crore (₹332 million), compared to ₹25.3 crore (₹253 million) recorded in Q1 FY26.
Earnings Per Share (EPS): Basic EPS grew to ₹5.15 per share (face value ₹2) from ₹3.91 per share in Q1 FY26.
Operational Dynamics & Order Backlog
The compression segment continues to serve as KPCL's primary operational engine, generating approximately 94% of the company's revenue for the quarter at ₹284.8 crore (₹2,848 million).
Order Book: Orders on hand as of July 1, 2026, stood at ₹1,853 crore, maintaining revenue visibility relative to the ₹1,863 crore order backlog reported at the beginning of the financial year.

Product Innovations & Rating Upgrade
During the first quarter, KPCL introduced two strategic solutions to expand its addressable market:
A-800 Centrifugal Compressor: Launched under the Tezcatlipoca product range, strengthening the company's high-capacity industrial compression portfolio.
"Tonalli" Compact Biogas Solution: A decentralized waste-to-energy unit designed for factories, hotels, and restaurants processing 100 kg to 250 kg of daily food waste into captive biogas.
Credit Rating Upgrade
CRISIL upgraded KPCL's credit rating to AA with a Stable Outlook (up from AA-). The rating agency cited the company's strong financial fundamentals, low leverage, robust liquidity position, and consistent operational execution as key factors behind the upgrade.
