Hatsun Agro Product Limited (NSE: HATSUN, BSE: 531531), India's largest private-sector dairy company, announced its unaudited financial results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026 (Q1 FY27).

Supported by robust demand across its milk, ice cream, and value-added dairy product lines, the Chennai-headquartered dairy giant achieved a 19.31% year-on-year (YoY) revenue growth, with sales crossing the ₹3,000 crore milestone in a single quarter.

Consolidated Q1 FY27 Financial Highlights

Revenue from Operations: Clambered 19.31% Y-o-Y to ₹3,090.49 crore, up from ₹2,590.28 crore in Q1 FY26 and growing 19.89% sequentially over Q4 FY26 (₹2,577.63 crore).

Total Income: Reached ₹3,093.38 crore, compared to ₹2,594.20 crore in Q1 FY26 and ₹2,580.21 crore in Q4 FY26.

Operating EBITDA: Stood at ₹353.59 crore for the quarter.

Profit Before Tax (PBT): Reached ₹170.68 crore, marking a sharp sequential rebound from ₹59.77 crore in Q4 FY26.

Profit After Tax (PAT): Reported at ₹133.69 crore for Q1 FY27 (compared to ₹135.19 crore in Q1 FY26 and ₹50.89 crore in Q4 FY26, representing a 162.7% sequential jump).

Total Comprehensive Income: Stood at ₹133.31 crore for the quarter.

Expenditure & Operating Expenses Breakdown

Total expenses for Q1 FY27 stood at ₹2,922.70 crore, compared to ₹2,409.96 crore in the year-ago period:

Cost of Materials Consumed: Accounted for ₹2,155.75 crore (vs. ₹1,569.87 crore in Q1 FY26).

Purchases of Stock-in-Trade: Stood at ₹0.92 crore (vs. ₹6.15 crore in Q1 FY26).

Changes in Inventories: Recorded at ₹32.49 crore for finished goods, work-in-progress, and stock-in-trade.

Employee Benefits Expense: Rose to ₹84.95 crore (vs. ₹68.86 crore in Q1 FY26).

Finance Costs: Reduced significantly to ₹31.63 crore (down 27.1% YoY from ₹43.38 crore in Q1 FY26).

Depreciation & Amortization Expense: Stood at ₹151.28 crore (vs. ₹137.13 crore in Q1 FY26).

Other Expenses: Accounted for ₹465.68 crore (vs. ₹407.12 crore in Q1 FY26).

Tax Provisioning: Total tax outlay for the quarter was ₹36.99 crore (comprising current tax of ₹47.26 crore offset by a deferred tax credit of ₹10.27 crore).

Share Capital & Per Share Metrics

Basic & Diluted Earnings Per Share (EPS): Reached ₹6.00 per equity share (face value ₹1/- each) for the quarter (not annualized), compared to ₹6.07 in Q1 FY26 and ₹2.28 in Q4 FY26.

Paid-Up Equity Share Capital: Stood at ₹22.28 crore (face value Re. 1/- per share).

Other Equity: Stood at ₹1,922.24 crore (excluding revaluation reserves) as of March 31, 2026.
