Profit Before Tax (PBT): Stood at ₹463 crore, compared to ₹473 crore in Q1 FY26, primarily reflecting lower other income as surplus funds were deployed into growth capex.
Profit After Tax (PAT): Reported at ₹358 crore, compared to ₹390 crore in Q1 FY26, reflecting lower PBT and a higher effective tax rate.

QIP Completion: Successfully closed a landmark ₹7,503 crore Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP) to fund future capital expenditure and meet SEBI's Minimum Public Shareholding (MPS) guidelines.
Operational Highlights & Capacity Expansion
Cargo Handled Volume: Reached 31 Million Tonnes (MT) for the quarter, up 6% Y-o-Y. Volume growth was led by Jaigarh Port, Dharamtar Port, South West Port, Ennore Bulk Terminal, and interim operations at Tuticorin Terminal, partially offset by reduced throughput at fujairah Liquid Terminal.
Capacity Additions:
South West Port (Goa): Cargo handling capacity expanded from 11 MTPA to 12 MTPA.
Mangalore Container Terminal: Expanded from 4.2 MTPA to 6.0 MTPA.
Kolkata Container Terminal: Commenced interim operations and secured another PPP project at Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port (~0.93 million TEUs capacity), taking total Kolkata container capacity to 1.4 million TEUs.
Logistics & Connectivity Updates:
Commenced commercial operations at the Arakkonam GCT.
Secured Environmental Clearance and approval for rail connectivity to the Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC) for Murbe Port in Maharashtra.
Long-Term Growth Strategy & Financial Guidance
JSW Infrastructure reiterated its roadmap to reach 400 Million Tonnes Per Annum (MTPA) cargo handling capacity by FY 2030 or earlier (up from its current capacity of 186 MTPA), backed by a planned capital expenditure of ₹30,000 crore. In addition, ₹9,000 crore has been earmarked for expanding its pan-India logistics network.
Guidance Outlook
FY27 Target: Operational revenue of ₹6,850 crore and Operating EBITDA of ₹3,000 crore (~15% Y-o-Y growth).
FY28 Outlook: Operating EBITDA is projected to nearly double compared to the FY26 baseline as newly deployed port and logistics assets move into full operational contribution.
