Oracle Financial Services Software Reports Explosive Growth in Q1 FY27; Revenue Up 69% to ₹3,125 Crore and Net Income Surges 121%

Oracle Financial Services Software Limited (Reuters: ORCL.BO and ORCL.NS), a majority-owned subsidiary of Oracle, today announced its consolidated financial results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026 (Q1 Fiscal Year 2027). The company delivered strong top-line and bottom-line growth, backed by surging momentum in its core Products business and substantial expansion across key global markets, particularly the Americas.

Alongside its financial performance, the company announced key executive leadership changes, including the transition of its Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer post.

Executive Financial Highlights

Revenue from Operations: Consolidated revenue for the quarter reached ₹3,125 crore (₹31,252 million), marking a massive 69% year-on-year (YoY) increase compared to ₹1,852 crore (₹18,522 million) in Q1 FY26. On a sequential basis, operational revenue grew by 51.3% over ₹2,065 crore (₹20,652 million) in Q4 FY26.

Operating Income: Stood at ₹1,861 crore (₹18,611 million), surging 123% YoY from ₹833 crore (₹8,329 million) in Q1 FY26. Operating margin expanded significantly to 60% of total revenues compared to 45% in the corresponding prior-year period.

Net Income: Consolidated net profit soared 121% YoY to ₹1,416 crore (₹14,155 million), up from ₹642 crore (₹6,419 million) in Q1 FY26. On a sequential basis, net income increased by 68.2% over ₹842 crore (₹8,417 million) in Q4 FY26.

Earnings Per Share (EPS): Basic EPS for the quarter rose to ₹162.59 per equity share (face value ₹5 each), up 120% YoY from ₹73.88 in Q1 FY26 and up 68.1% QoQ from ₹96.72 in Q4 FY26. Diluted EPS reached ₹161.92, up from ₹73.52 in Q1 FY26.

Remaining Performance Obligation (RPO): Stood at ₹7,345 crore, growing 16% YoY and providing strong multi-year revenue visibility.

Executive Leadership Transitions

The Board of Directors approved key executive leadership transitions:

Mr. Makarand Padalkar has resigned from his position as Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, effective at the end of the day on July 23, 2026. He will remain with the company for a few months to facilitate a seamless operational transition.

Mr. Avadhut (Vinay) Ketkar, currently serving as Chief Financial Officer, has been appointed as Additional Director and designated as the new Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, effective July 24, 2026.

Mr. Manish Bhandari, currently serving as Chief Accounting Officer, has been elevated to the position of Chief Financial Officer, effective July 24, 2026.

Business Segment Performance

1. Products Business

The core Products business served as the primary growth driver during the quarter:

Segment Revenue: Posted revenue of ₹2,936 crore (₹29,358 million), reflecting a stellar 75% YoY growth compared to ₹1,674 crore (₹16,743 million) in Q1 FY26. The segment accounted for 94% of total corporate revenue.

License & Cloud Fees: Surged by an extraordinary 418% YoY to ₹1,366 crore (₹13,661 million), up from ₹264 crore (₹2,639 million) in Q1 FY26, expanding its share of total revenue from 14% to 44%.

Maintenance Fees: Rose 14% YoY to ₹631 crore (₹6,311 million), representing 20% of total quarterly revenue.

Consulting Fees: Increased 9% YoY to ₹939 crore (₹9,386 million), representing 30% of total revenue.

Segment Results: Product segment profit expanded 129% YoY to ₹1,895 crore (₹18,953 million), delivering a segment margin of 65%.

2. Services Business

Segment Revenue: Posted revenue of ₹189 crore (₹1,894 million), up 6% YoY compared to ₹178 crore (₹1,779 million) in Q1 FY26, accounting for 6% of total revenue.

Segment Results: Delivered a segment profit of ₹38.3 crore (₹383 million), down 29% YoY compared to ₹54.2 crore (₹542 million) in Q1 FY26.

Geographic Revenue Distribution

Revenue growth was anchored by strong international performance, particularly across the Americas:

Americas: Revenue skyrocketed by 141% YoY to ₹1,704 crore (₹17,037 million), contributing 55% of total consolidated revenue compared to 38% in Q1 FY26.

Asia Pacific: Revenue rose 36% YoY to ₹499 crore (₹4,991 million), contributing 16% of total revenue.

Middle East and Africa: Revenue grew 20% YoY to ₹412 crore (₹4,116 million), making up 13% of total revenue.

Europe: Revenue expanded 27% YoY to ₹315 crore (₹3,149 million), accounting for 10% of total revenue.

India: Operational revenue stood at ₹196 crore (₹1,959 million), up 4% YoY and accounting for 6% of total revenue.

1. Revenue & Income Summary

Revenue from Operations: ₹31,252 million (Q1 FY27) vs. ₹20,652 million (Q4 FY26) vs. ₹18,522 million (Q1 FY26).

Other Income (Net): ₹776 million in Q1 FY27 compared to ₹713 million in Q4 FY26 and ₹725 million in Q1 FY26.

Total Income: Reached ₹32,028 million in Q1 FY27, up 50.0% QoQ from ₹21,365 million in Q4 FY26 and up 66.4% YoY from ₹19,247 million in Q1 FY26.

2. Expense Structure

Total expenses for Q1 FY27 came in at ₹12,641 million, compared to ₹10,164 million in Q4 FY26 and ₹10,193 million in Q1 FY26:

Employee Benefit Expenses: Increased to ₹10,753 million in Q1 FY27 from ₹8,226 million in Q4 FY26 and ₹8,390 million in Q1 FY26.

Professional Fees: Stood at ₹1,108 million vs. ₹1,035 million in Q4 FY26 and ₹808 million in Q1 FY26.

Other Expenses: Totaled ₹378 million compared to ₹505 million in Q4 FY26 and ₹517 million in Q1 FY26.

Travel-Related Expenses: Stood at ₹248 million vs. ₹323 million in Q4 FY26 and ₹344 million in Q1 FY26.

Depreciation and Amortization: Remained stable at ₹147 million vs. ₹154 million in Q4 FY26 and ₹177 million in Q1 FY26.

Finance Costs: Stood at ₹7 million vs. negative ₹(79) million in Q4 FY26 and negative ₹(43) million in Q1 FY26.

3. Tax Expense & Comprehensive Income

Profit Before Tax (PBT): Expanded 114% YoY to ₹19,387 million in Q1 FY27 from ₹9,054 million in Q1 FY26.

Total Tax Expenses: Came in at ₹5,232 million (comprising Current Tax of ₹5,124 million and Deferred Tax of ₹108 million), compared to ₹2,635 million in Q1 FY26.

Other Comprehensive Income (OCI): Total OCI (net of tax) stood at ₹35 million, led by foreign currency translation gains of ₹39 million.

Total Comprehensive Income: Reached ₹14,190 million for Q1 FY27, compared to ₹8,925 million in Q4 FY26 and ₹6,561 million in Q1 FY26.

4. Capital Base

Paid-Up Equity Share Capital: Stood unchanged at ₹435 million (comprising equity shares of face value ₹5/- each, fully paid).
