Schaeffler India Reports Strong Q2 FY26 Performance as Net Profit Rises to ₹3,258 Million; Revenue Up 17.3% YoY

Schaeffler India Limited (BSE: 505790, NSE: SCHAEFFLER), the leading motion technology company, announced today that its Board of Directors has approved the unaudited consolidated financial results for the second quarter and half-year ended June 30, 2026.

The company delivered robust top-line and bottom-line growth during the quarter, driven by solid demand across its primary mobility and industrial business divisions, sustained intercompany exports, and steady operational execution.

Quarterly Revenue Growth: Revenue from operations (net) for Q2 FY26 reached ₹26,814 million, representing a 17.5% year-on-year (YoY) increase compared to the corresponding quarter of 2025 and a 7.0% sequential (QoQ) expansion over Q1 FY26.

Quarterly Profitability: Profit Before Tax (PBT) before exceptional items for Q2 FY26 stood at ₹4,525 million, higher by 13.7% YoY. The PBT margin was recorded at 16.9%, compared to 17.4% in Q2 FY25 and 17.0% in Q1 FY26.

Quarterly Net Profit: Net profit for the second quarter stood at ₹3,367 million with a net profit margin of 12.6%.

Six-Month Revenue Growth: For the half-year period (January - June 2026), revenue from operations (net) reached ₹51,884 million, up 18.1% compared to the same period in 2025.

Six-Month PBT & PAT: Six-month PBT (before exceptional items) rose 16.5% YoY to ₹8,782 million (16.9% PBT margin). Net profit for the six-month period came in at ₹6,564 million, yielding a net profit margin of 12.7% compared to 12.8% in H1 2025.

Revenue & Income Performance

Revenue from Operations: Consolidated revenue from operations for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, rose 17.3% YoY to ₹27,605.5 million compared to ₹23,525.9 million in Q2 FY25. Sequentially, top-line revenue expanded 6.8% over ₹25,856.4 million in Q1 FY26.

Other Income: Stood at ₹367.1 million in Q2 FY26, down from ₹430.3 million in Q2 FY25 and ₹423.2 million in Q1 FY26.

Total Income: Consolidated total income reached ₹27,972.6 million for the quarter under review, up 16.8% YoY from ₹23,956.2 million in Q2 FY25 and up 6.4% QoQ from ₹26,279.6 million in Q1 FY26.

Expense Breakdown

Total consolidated expenses for Q2 FY26 amounted to ₹23,540.4 million, compared to ₹20,042.7 million in Q2 FY25 and ₹21,989.6 million in Q1 FY26:

Cost of Materials Consumed: Stood at ₹12,775.6 million, up from ₹9,503.3 million in CPLY and ₹11,563.0 million in the preceding quarter.

Purchases of Stock-in-Trade: Increased to ₹6,251.3 million compared to ₹4,992.6 million in Q2 FY25.

Changes in Inventories: Finished goods, stock-in-trade, and work-in-progress inventories reflected a credit/change of negative ₹2,144.1 million.

Employee Benefits Expense: Rose to ₹1,607.3 million from ₹1,514.6 million in Q2 FY25 and ₹1,473.0 million in Q1 FY26.

Finance Costs: Stood at ₹13.7 million compared to ₹10.8 million in Q2 FY25 and ₹11.8 million in Q1 FY26.

Depreciation and Amortisation: Increased to ₹911.0 million against ₹807.2 million in the year-ago period and ₹904.6 million in the previous quarter.

Other Expenses: Totaled ₹4,125.6 million compared to ₹3,425.2 million in Q2 FY25 and ₹3,671.2 million in Q1 FY26.

Consolidated Net Profit & Comprehensive Income

Profit Before Tax (PBT): Rose 13.3% YoY to ₹4,432.2 million in Q2 FY26 compared to ₹3,913.5 million in Q2 FY25 and ₹4,290.0 million in Q1 FY26.

Tax Provision: Current tax expense stood at ₹1,247.9 million, alongside a deferred tax credit of ₹73.5 million, bringing the total quarterly tax outlay to ₹1,174.4 million.

Profit for the Period (PAT): Net profit for Q2 FY26 grew 13.5% YoY to ₹3,257.8 million compared to ₹2,871.1 million in Q2 FY25 and expanded 3.1% QoQ over ₹3,160.7 million in Q1 FY26.

Total Comprehensive Income: Stood at ₹3,262.1 million for Q2 FY26, up 14.3% YoY from ₹2,853.2 million in Q2 FY25.

Earnings Per Share (EPS): Basic and diluted EPS for the quarter improved to ₹20.8 per equity share of face value ₹2 each, up from ₹18.4 in Q2 FY25 and ₹20.2 in Q1 FY26.

Segment-Wise Performance Analysis

Schaeffler India reports operations across two primary operational segments: Mobility components and related solutions, and Others.

1. Revenue Breakdown by Business Line

Automotive Technologies: Generated ₹9,402.8 million in Q2 FY26, posting significant growth of 33.3% YoY over ₹7,054.3 million in Q2 FY25 and 3.6% QoQ over ₹9,078.4 million in Q1 FY26.

Vehicle Lifetime Solutions: Contributed ₹4,126.0 million in Q2 FY26, growing 10.3% YoY from ₹3,740.3 million in Q2 FY25 and 8.7% QoQ from ₹3,796.5 million in Q1 FY26.

Bearings & Industrial Solutions: Combined segment revenue (across Mobility and Others) reached ₹9,429.1 million in Q2 FY26, up 5.0% YoY compared to ₹8,978.2 million in Q2 FY25 and 6.6% QoQ compared to ₹8,848.5 million in Q1 FY26.

Intercompany Exports & Others: Delivered ₹4,647.6 million in revenue during Q2 FY26, registering a 23.8% YoY growth over ₹3,753.1 million in Q2 FY25 and 12.5% QoQ growth over ₹4,133.0 million in Q1 FY26.

2. Segment Profitability

Mobility Components & Related Solutions: Recorded a segment result (profit before unallocable income, finance costs, and tax) of ₹2,855.4 million in Q2 FY26, compared to ₹2,582.8 million in Q2 FY25 and ₹2,865.8 million in Q1 FY26.

Others: Delivered a segment profit of ₹1,223.4 million in Q2 FY26, marking a 34.3% YoY gain from ₹911.2 million in Q2 FY25 and a 20.8% QoQ gain over ₹1,012.8 million in Q1 FY26.

Total Segment Profit: Combined segment results totaled ₹4,078.8 million in Q2 FY26, up 16.7% YoY from ₹3,494.0 million in Q2 FY25 and up 5.2% QoQ from ₹3,878.6 million in Q1 FY26.

Year-To-Date (H1 FY26) Consolidated Summary

H1 Revenue from Operations: Stood at ₹53,461.9 million for the six months ended June 30, 2026, registering an 18.1% YoY increase from ₹45,270.0 million in H1 FY25.

H1 Total Income: Reached ₹54,252.2 million compared to ₹46,035.8 million in the prior-year period.

H1 Profit Before Tax: Grew 19.0% YoY to ₹8,722.2 million from ₹7,330.8 million in H1 FY25.

H1 Net Profit After Tax: Reached ₹6,418.5 million, up 19.1% YoY from ₹5,387.3 million recorded in H1 FY25.

H1 Earnings Per Share: Basic and diluted EPS for the six-month period improved to ₹41.1 per share compared to ₹34.5 per share in H1 FY25.

Capital Structure & Balance Sheet Position

Paid-Up Share Capital: Stood unchanged at ₹312.6 million (comprising equity shares of face value ₹2 each).

Total Assets: Stood at ₹85,121.4 million as of June 30, 2026, compared to ₹73,090.9 million as of June 30, 2025, and ₹82,126.8 million as of December 31, 2025.

Total Liabilities: Total liabilities as of June 30, 2026, stood at ₹23,648.4 million compared to ₹18,742.2 million as of June 30, 2025.

Net Capital Employed: Total net capital employed across all operating divisions stood at ₹61,473.0 million as of June 30, 2026, up 13.1% YoY compared to ₹54,348.7 million as of June 30, 2025.
