Batliboi Ltd- EEG Division, a major player in the solution provider in air pollution systems for Steel, cement, power, chemical, tyre industries etc, has announced today that it has secured a major new contract from SAEL Industries Limited for Design, Supply, Installation and Commissioning of pollution equipment for its upcoming Solar Cell Manufacturing facility located at Jewar, Uttar Pradesh. The contract is valued at ₹52 crores, represents a significant milestone in this divisions foray into the Solar Energy Sector.
Under the terms of the agreement, Batliboi Ltd - EEG Division will Design, Engineer, Supply, Install and Commission a PEX System to support SAEL Industries Limited's 6GW Solar Cell Line. The project is expected to be commissioned in the next 6-8 months. EEG has in past successfully commissioned PEX system for solar module manufacturing for Adani Mundra Solar Ltd.
This contract win symbolizes the EEG Division's capabilities to deliver innovative solutions. It also focuses with the Division's long-term strategy aligning with the government's initiative to encourage indigenous manufacturing of solar ecosystem.
