Vishwaraj Sugar Industries Ltd gets environmental clearance for distillery expansion

Vishwaraj Sugar Industries Ltd had applied for Environmental Clearance (EC) to the Ministry of Forests Environment & Climate Change Government of India for expanding the distillery capacity from 100 KLPD to 250 KLPD based on Sugarcane Syrup / C / B Heavy Molasses as raw material and 120 KLPD grain-based distillery to produce Ethanol at its existing plant located at Village Bellad Bagewadi.

The concerned authority has deliberated the proposal and has made due diligence in the process as notified under the provisions of the EIA Notification, 2006 and has made recommendations to the proposal. The authority has found the proposal in order and has recommended for grant of Environmental Clearance.

The copy of the same is available on the website of Ministry of Forests Environment & Climate Change and the Company has received communication in this respect.
