DroneAcharya Aerial Innovations Limited has announced its collaboration with Ernst & Young (EY) and IIT Ropar to launch a six-month initiative called "Nepal drone ecosystem acceleration program, a project by The World Bank." As the lead bidder, EY secured the contract from the World Bank and subsequently subcontracted the project to its consortium partners. This collaboration combines expertise in consultancy, academia, and technical training to drive a comprehensive program focused on ecosystem analysis, gap identification, model development, and advanced drone training. The initiative aims to accelerate Nepal's adoption of drone technology for critical applications such as infrastructure development, disaster management, security, and precision agriculture.
The initiative will also focus on advanced drone training, leveraging the combined expertise of DroneAcharya, EY, and IIT Ropar to empower stakeholders in Nepal's government and private sectors. This collaboration represents a significant step in accelerating drone technology adoption and fostering innovation in the region. Out of the total project value, the secured order by DroneAcharya amounts to INR 46,25,321/- (inclusive of GST).
