HDFC Bank Limited raises Rs. 2910 crores through debentures

HDFC Bank Limited has issued and allotted today on a private placement basis 7.65% Senior, Unsecured, Redeemable, Long Term, Fully Paid up, Non-Convertible Bonds in the Nature of Debentures for enhancing long term resources for funding infrastructure and affordable housing projects amounting to Rs. 2,910 Crore (2,91,000 Bonds of face value Rs.1, 00,000/- each).

Shares of HDFC Bank Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 1431.10 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 1448.95. The total number of shares traded during the day was 211454 in over 7027 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 1451.60 and intraday low of 1424.75. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 303552510.00.
