Ashok Leyland Ltd's sales volume drops 10% YoY in December 2023

Ashok Leyland Ltd has announced the sales figures for the month of December 2023.

The company has reported 10% YoY drop in total sales volume for December 2023 at 16324 units, as against 18138 units in December 2022.

The M&HCV sales was at 10800 units in December 2023, as compared to 12262 units in December 2022 registering a drop of 12% YoY.

LCV sales dropped 6% YoY to 5524 units in December 2023 from 5876 units in December 2022.

The company's sales during the period April 2023 to December 2023 increased 4% YoY to 138416 units as against 132508 units during the period April 2022 to December 2022.

Shares of Ashok Leyland Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 186.10 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 181.35. The total number of shares traded during the day was 1541781 in over 12715 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 188.20 and intraday low of 181.60. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 286930946.00.
