Sona BLW Precision Forgings Ltd board approves capacity expansion at Chennai plant

The Board of Directors of SONA BLW PRECISION FORGINGS LIMITED in their meeting held on 27th July, 2023, have approved expansion of existing capacity at Company's Chennai plant located at Keelakaranai Village, Malrosapuram Post Maraimalai Nagar Chengalpattu - 603204 Tamilnadu.

Further, the Board has approved investment of INR 997 million for capacity expansion of the Chennai plant from 400,000 to 600,000 EV traction motors, and a new capacity 500,000 units of PCB Assembly, by financial year 2025.

Shares of Sona BLW Precision Forgings Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 591.60 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 597.25. The total number of shares traded during the day was 58742 in over 2264 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 605.00 and intraday low of 586.55. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 35110664.00.
