Hindustan Zinc appoints Mr. Sandeep Modi as Chief Financial Officer

Hindustan Zinc Limited has today announced the appointment of Mr. Sandeep Modi as Chief Financial Officer. A Chartered Accountant by profession, Sandeep has experience of almost 2 decades in the Non-Ferrous Metals, Mining and Power sector.

In his current role Sandeep has been instrumental in best delivery of results in FY23 for Hindustan Zinc since its disinvestment and before that similar performance in other group companies like Balco and TSPL. He has successfully led large refinancing deal during Covid times in the Power sector during his tenure at Talwandi Sabo Power Ltd.

Sandeep has featured in Business World 40 under 40 in finance domain, has also been awarded the "Great Manager Award 2020" by Economic Times. He also was recognised by CII as Leading CFO of the year in metal and mining sector.

Shares of Hindustan Zinc Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 324.40 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 327.30. The total number of shares traded during the day was 73760 in over 2025 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 327.65 and intraday low of 321.30. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 23902059.00.
