HDFC announces business update for Q4FY23

Housing Development Finance Corporation Limited has announced the business updates for the period ended March 31, 2023.

Loans assigned:

During the quarter ended March 31, 2023, the Corporation assigned individual loans amounting to ₹9,340 crore compared to ₹8,367 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. Individual loans sold in the preceding 12 months amounted to ₹36,910 crore (PY: ₹28,455 crore).

Gross income from dividend for the quarter ended March 31, 2023 was ₹207 crore (PY: ₹128 crore).

The net gain on fair value changes through the Statement of Profit and Loss (FVTPL) for the quarter ended March 31, 2023 was approximately ₹269 crore (PY: ₹267 crore). For FY23, the FVTPL stood at approximately ₹358 crore (PY: ₹938 crore).

During the quarter ended March 31, 2023, there was no sale of investments in subsidiary/associate companies.

The above figures are subject to audit by the statutory auditors of the Corporation.

Shares of Housing Development Finance Corporation Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 2627.10 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 2627.35. The total number of shares traded during the day was 72927 in over 4643 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 2634.55 and intraday low of 2609.55. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 191259993.00.
