TMB has bagged the Best Small Bank award in the Best Banks survey for the year 2022 done by Business Today-KPMG (BT-KPMG Best banks survey). The bank has won this award under the category of banks with the book size of less than Rs.1 lac crore. The BT-KPMG is conducting this survey and awarding the best banks for the past 27 years with 37 parameters for declaring a bank as an awardee. TMB has shown its performance to come up as topper in the respective category.
In the function held at Mumbai, on 13th January, 2023, bank's MD & CEO Shri.S.Krishnan, has received this award from the Honourable Union Minister Shri.Nitin Gadkari. In the award ceremony, Honourable Union Minister of State for Finance Shri. Bhagwat Kishanrao Karad and Respected RBI Governor Shri.Shaktikanta Das, appreciated the bankers who have bagged the awards.
Earlier, MD & CEO, Shri.S.Krishnan shared his views in the panel discussion on the topic, "Discussing Banking and Fintech: A New Partnership" held in the function.
