Som Distilleries and Breweries Ltd updates on expansion plan

The Board of directors of Som Distilleries and Breweries Ltd reviewed and noted that the Company is executing an expansion plan of approximately ₹100 crores for setting up a new canning facility and other utilities at the Bhopal Plant of the Company and expanding the Brewing Facility in Hasan Plant of its WOS i.e. Woodpecker Distilleries and Breweries Private Limited. The company expects to complete the expansion in time so as to prepare for the summer season.

It was noted that to part finance the expansion of the facilities at the Bhopal Plant i.e. Som Distilleries and Breweries Limited and Hassan Plant i.e. Woodpecker Distilleries and Breweries Private Limited it proposed to raise equity capital as follows.

Shares of Som Distilleries & Breweries Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 141.25 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 141.40. The total number of shares traded during the day was 65178 in over 1390 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 142.05 and intraday low of 138.95. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 9172567.00.
