The Sandur Manganese & Iron Ores Ltd awarded 5 Star Rating

At the 6th National Conclave on Mines & Minerals held on 12 July 2022 in New Delhi, the Ministry of Mines, Government of India has awarded 5 Star Rating to both the Mining Leases of The Sandur Manganese & Iron Ores Limited, for the year 2020-21. The award was presented by Hon’ble Union Minister Prahlad Joshi, Ministry of Mines, Government of India and the same has been received on behalf of the Company by Bahirji A. Ghorpade, Managing Director and Uttam Kumar Bhageria, Chief Financial Officer for Mining Lease No.2678 and by Md. Abdul Saleem, Director (Mines) and Shridhar Parameshwar Hedge, General Manager (Mines) for Mining Lease No.2679.

The Company has been receiving 5 Star Rating award from inception of this award by Ministry of Mines, Government of India in the year 2014-15 and thereafter for all the years till 2020-21. The 5 Star Rating Awards are based on the assessment of various parameters of Sustainable Development Framework prescribed by the India Bureau of Mines.

Shares of SANDUR MANGANESE & IRON ORES LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs. 2674.40 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 2667.10. The total number of shares traded during the day was 19782 in over 2185 trades.
