Antony Waste Handling Cell Ltd - Q4 and FY 2022 Business Update

Antony Waste Handling Cell Ltd has announced the business update for the fourth quarter ("Q4FY22") and financial year ("FY 2022") ended March 31, 2022.

Total Operating Revenue (tipping revenue from C&T, Mechanical Power Sweeping and Waste Processing) for Q4FY22 has improved by approximately 20.9% YoY (including various escalations and revenues from fixed shifts/trips/households fees). For FY2022, the core operating revenue is up 31.4%, benefitting from the scaling up of operations at Varanasi, Jhansi and Noida. The year also saw business activity revival as compared to a year impacted by COVID-related business shutdown.

Total tonnage handled by the Collection & Transportation Business (excluding those projects with fixed shifts/trips/households) reported around 7.4% YOY growth, and total waste processed by the Company has remained stable. The Company has completed FY 2022 on a strong note reporting a 19.9% YOY increase in tonnage handled, to 1.53 million tons at its Collection & Transportation business, while total tonnage processed at its Processing divisions stood at 2.30 million tons, an increase of 11.9% YOY.

Total compost sales for FY 2022 stood at 14,241 tons as compared to 11,169 tons in FY 2021, an increase of 27.5% YOY.

Shares of Antony Waste Handling Cell Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 282.80 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 277.00. The total number of shares traded during the day was 14650 in over 677 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 285.70 and intraday low of 269.55. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 4084418.00.
