Som Distilleries extends rights issue closing date by 7 days

The Rights Issue of Som Distilleries and Breweries Ltd has opened on Monday, January 17, 2022 ("Issue Opening Date") and is slated to close on Monday, January 31, 2022 in terms of letter of offer dated December 27, 2021 ("Letter of Offer").

In this regard, National Stock Exchange of India Limited ("NSE") and BSE Limited ("BSE") (collectively referred to as "Stock Exchanges") are hereby informed that in view of the intervening holidays and in order to provide a better opportunity to shareholders to exercise their rights in the Rights Issue, the Executive Legal and Borrowing Committee of Board of Directors in their meeting held today i.e., January 30, 2022 has decided to extend the last date for making an application for the Rights Equity Shares of the Company by seven (7) days i.e., from Monday, January 31, 2022 to Monday, February 7, 2022.

The said extension period as stated above is within the applicable provisions of Securities and Exchange Board of India (Issue of Capital and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2018 and Companies Act, 2013 and does not lead to the issue period being open in excess of thirty (30) days inclusive of the Issue Opening Date.

Shares of Som Distilleries & Breweries Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 44.15 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 43.85. The total number of shares traded during the day was 53914 in over 436 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 47.50 and intraday low of 43.80. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 2390605.00.
