Patni Computer Systems allots 40995 equity shares under Stock Option Plan

Patni Computer Systems Ltd has announced that the Compensation & Remuneration Committee of Directors of the Company vide resolution dated November 16, 2010 has allotted 40,995 equity shares of par value of Rs. 2/- each to certain employees including 2,250 underlying equity shares of par value of Rs. 2/- each to Bank of New York Mellon as a Depository in connection with the issuance of 1,125 American Depositary Shares (ADSs) pursuant to the exercise of ADR Linked options.

The stock closed the day at Rs.473.15, up by Rs.17.25 or 3.78%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.475.50 and low of Rs.452.

The total traded quantity was 1.92 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 0.66 lakhs.
