Canara Bank allots 27,69,88,576 shares to Government of India

Canara Bank has, on 04.12.2019, allotted 27,69,88,576 (Twenty seven crore Sixty nine lakhs Eighty eight thousand Five hundred and Seventy six only) equity shares of face value of Rs.10/- each at an Issue Price of Rs.237.23 (including premium of Rs.227.23) per share to Government of India, Promoter of the Bank, on preferential basis, in accordance with the applicable provisions.

Shares of CANARA BANK was last trading in BSE at Rs.223.95 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 217.1. The total number of shares traded during the day was 371220 in over 2592 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 224.9 and intraday low of 216.05. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 82281143.
