Accentia Technologies approves allotment of 8 lakh warrants

Accentia Technologies Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on November 12, 2010, inter alia, has considered and approved the allotment of 800,000 warrants to Promoters and Persons Acting in Concert (PAC'S) on preferential basis.

The Board fixed the date and venue of the Extraordinary General Meeting as December 06, 2010 and approved resolutions / matters to be placed before Extraordinary General Meeting and authorized Mr. Pradeep Viswambharan, Managing Director and CEO to issue notices thereof.

The Board also approved the induction of Mr. Khezer Kharawala. Senior Counsel at the Honorable High Court of Maharashtra in Mumbai and an eminent legal professional in India with vast experience in the legal domain, as Additional Director of the Company.

The stock closed the day at Rs.279.50, down by Rs.2.55 or 0.90%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.289.95 and low of Rs.279.05.

The total traded quantity was 0.37 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 0.71 lakhs.
