NIIT Technologies & DB Systems Close Offshore Partnership Agreement for Distributed Software Production

NIIT Technologies Ltd has announced that NIIT Technologies AG, the German subsidiary of the internationally operating offshore-services provider Company, has closed an offshore partnership agreement with the IT full-service provider DB Systems GmbH, for the flexible provisioning of IT specialists.

The Company will take over the function of "extended workbench" for DB Systems and, when needed 'such as times of peak production' provide internationally certified IT specialists and developers.

The offshore partnership reiterates DB Systems' strategic focus of being an independent, internationally operating IT full-services provider. "The cooperation with NIIT Technologies AG provides DB Systems with access to personnel, while minimising the associated risks and costs and supports the goals we've set within a growth and diversification-based strategy." explained Robert Simmeth, Chairman of the Management Board at DB Systems.

"The engagement with NIIT Technologies, which is initially planned for three years, will not lead to a reduction in the number of jobs at DB Systems. We have even been taking on new staff for software engineering selected segments," Simmeth stressed.

With this project, NIIT Technologies AG is making available offshore services to the German market and is positioning itself as a capable offshoring partner for the development of cost optimising IT solutions.
