Western India Shipyard allots 4832850 shares

Western India Shipyard Ltd has announced that pursuant to the approvals granted by the Hon'ble Bombay High Court, Goa Bench under the Scheme of Arrangement filed by the Company vide it's Order dated June 23, 2006 and June 27, 2008 ('Orders'). The Board of Directors at its meeting held on August 28, 2008, has allotted 4832850 equity shares of the face value of Rs 2/- each fully paid up at par, to the retail debenture holders settled under the Scheme of Arrangement filed by the Company and approved by the Orders.
