KVB expands presence in Chennai with new Villivakkam branch

Karur Vysya Bank (KVB) has strengthened its presence in Tamil Nadu by opening a new branch in Villivakkam, Chennai. This marks the Bank's 903rd branch nationwide.

The branch, located at No. 12/4, Sidco Nagar, Villivakkam, was inaugurated by Dr. M. S. Shanmugam, I.A.S, Principal Secretary / Commissioner of Tourism & Managing Director - TTDC. Dr. Vasantha Gowri, Trustee of KRM Group of Schools, Chennai, lit the ceremonial Gayatri lamp to mark the auspicious occasion.

Shares of Karur Vysya Bank Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 279.45 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 284.00. The total number of shares traded during the day was 123531 in over 4417 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 286.25 and intraday low of 278.50. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 34787743.00.
