AU Small Finance Bank Hits 23% Deposit Growth and 24% Advances Surge in Q3 FY26

AU Small Finance Bank Limited reported impressive provisional business growth as of December 31, 2025, with total deposits climbing 23.3% year-over-year (YoY) to ₹1,38,420 crore from ₹1,12,260 crore in December 2024. Gross advances expanded even faster at 24.0% YoY to ₹1,25,210 crore, fueling a 19.3% rise in the overall gross loan portfolio to ₹1,29,900 crore. Sequential quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) gains were steady at 4.5% for deposits and 6.5% for gross advances.

Deposits and Funding Strength

Total deposits reached ₹1,38,420 crore, up 4.5% QoQ from ₹1,32,509 crore, driven by robust retail mobilization. CASA deposits grew 16.1% YoY to ₹39,950 crore (2.5% QoQ from ₹38,963 crore), though the CASA ratio moderated slightly to 28.9% from 30.6% YoY and 29.4% QoQ, reflecting a balanced liability mix.

Advances and Loan Portfolio Expansion

Gross Advances: ₹1,25,210 crore (+24.0% YoY, +6.5% QoQ from ₹1,17,525 crore).

Securitised/Assigned Portfolio: ₹4,690 crore (down from ₹7,932 crore YoY and ₹5,352 crore QoQ).

Gross Loan Portfolio (Advances + Securitised): ₹1,29,900 crore (+19.3% YoY, +5.7% QoQ from ₹1,22,877 crore).

AU SFB's double-digit growth across metrics underscores its agile retail and MSME franchise, with deposit acceleration supporting higher advances amid favorable credit demand. The slight CASA dip signals potential term deposit reliance, but overall portfolio health remains strong.

AU Small Finance Bank's trajectory positions it as a frontrunner in the small finance banking space, leveraging technology and customer-centric products for sustained expansion.
