UCO Bank Posts Strong Q3 FY26 Provisional Growth, Advances Up 16% YoY

UCO Bank released its provisional business update as of December 31, 2025, reflecting robust sequential and year-over-year expansion. Total business reached ₹5.54 lakh crore, up 3.36% quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) from ₹5.36 lakh crore as of September 30, 2025, and 13.29% year-over-year (YoY) from ₹4.89 lakh crore in December 2024. The figures are subject to review by the bank's statutory central auditors.

Total Advances: ₹2.43 lakh crore, up 5.19% QoQ from ₹2.31 lakh crore and 16.27% YoY from ₹2.09 lakh crore.

Total Deposits: ₹3.10 lakh crore, up 1.64% QoQ from ₹3.05 lakh crore and 10.71% YoY from ₹2.80 lakh crore.

Domestic Advances: ₹2.15 lakh crore, up 5.39% QoQ from ₹2.04 lakh crore and 17.49% YoY from ₹1.83 lakh crore.

Domestic Deposits: ₹2.92 lakh crore, up 0.69% QoQ from ₹2.90 lakh crore and 10.19% YoY from ₹2.65 lakh crore.

Balance Sheet Ratios

CASA Ratio (Domestic): Improved to 38.41% from 38.11% in Q2 FY26, signaling better low-cost funding.

Credit Deposit (CD) Ratio: Rose to 78.61% from 75.47% QoQ, reflecting accelerated lending activity.

UCO Bank's accelerated advance growth, particularly in domestic lending, alongside steady deposit mobilization and an improving CASA ratio, positions it well for earnings growth. The rising CD ratio reflects proactive credit expansion amid economic recovery, while stable deposit growth supports liquidity.

Shares of UCO Bank was last trading in BSE at Rs. 30.52 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 29.53. The total number of shares traded during the day was 1769631 in over 4063 trades.
