NBCC India Ltd signs MoU with MAHAPREIT

NBCC (India) Limited has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mahatma Phule Renewable Energy and Infrastructure Technology Limited (MAHAPREIT) on March 26, 2025. This collaboration aims to jointly undertake a wide range of consultancy, fee-based, EPC and redevelopment projects from concept to commissioning.

With this collaboration, NBCC will be entering into redevelopment for the first time in Maharashtra after having great success in transforming the landscape of Delhi through this unique redevelopment model.

Under this partnership, NBCC and MAHAPREIT will collaborate on key infrastructure projects in Maharashtra, including cluster development projects in Thane Municipal Corporation, data centres, renewable energy initiatives, slum rehabilitation projects in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) and various residential projects under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY).

These projects, with an estimated value of ₹25,000 crore, will be executed in a phased manner over the next three to five years, contributing to sustainable urban development and affordable housing in line with the Government of India's vision.

The MoU seeks to leverage each party's strengths and complement their capabilities, with the objective of enhancing long-term client acquisition and service delivery capabilities.

Shares of NBCC (India) Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 81.06 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 83.18. The total number of shares traded during the day was 1286794 in over 8456 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 84.45 and intraday low of 80.90. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 106439420.00.
