Ultramarine and Pigments Ltd arm to further expand capacity

The Board of Directors of Ultramarine and Pigments Ltd at its meeting held on 7th November, 2022 has approved the revised project cost of Pigments Project (executed through the wholly owned subsidiary, Ultramarine Specialty Chemicals Limited at APIIC lndustrial Park - Naidupet, Andhra Pradesh) on account of increase in capacity.

The subsidiary Commenced operation of 1,500 MT - Phase 1 on 25.07.2022 and 2,050 MT - Phase 2 project is under implementation. An additional capacity of 750 MT - Phase 2 is proposed at an outlay of Rs. 1,650 Lakhs which will be funded through a mix of equity and debt.

The new capacity is expected to be added in a phased manner commencing from December 2022.

Shares of ULTRAMARINE & PIGMENTS LTD. was last trading in BSE at Rs. 337.20 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 339.00. The total number of shares traded during the day was 16914 in over 453 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 351.00 and intraday low of 336.15. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 5822203.00.
