BDL registers impressive performance

Performance Highlights of 2021-22

BDL has achieved sales turnover of Rs.2817 Crore during the fiscal year and registered a strong recovery of about 47% jump in turnover over that of previous year Rs. 1914 Crore.

The profit before tax (PBT) of Rs. 710 Crore as against Rs. 341 Crore of previous with a growth of 108%.

The profit after tax (PAT) stood at Rs. 500 Crore as against Rs. 258 Crore of previous year with a growth of 94%.

During the Q4 of FY 2021-22, BDL has achieved turnover of Rs. 1381 Crore and PAT of Rs. 264 Crore as against turnover of Rs. 1137 Crore and PAT of Rs. 260 Crore respectively during the corresponding previous period.

The order book position of the company as on 1st April 2022 stood at Rs.10170 Crore which will be executable in the next 2-3 years.

BDL has received leads for export of AKASH to friendly foreign countries, which is expected to be materialized in one to two years.

Shares of Bharat Dynamics Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 741.55 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 742.35. The total number of shares traded during the day was 75384 in over 4234 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 766.70 and intraday low of 734.00. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 56177665.00.
