JSW Steel reports 21% YoY growth in February 2022 steel production

JSW Steel reported the Crude Steel production for the month of February, 2022 at 15.80 lakh tonnes, that grew by 21% YoY on standalone basis from 13.06 lakh tonnes in February 2021.

The Rolled Products : Flat production was at 11.54 lakh tonnes in February 2022, as against 9.27 lakh tonnes in February 2021 registering YoY growth of 25%.

The Rolled Products : Long production was up 8% YoY at 3.67 lakh tonnes as compared to 3.40 lakh tonnes in February 2021.

While the average capacity utilisation on expanded capacity was 88%, the utilisation was at 98% excluding Dolvi expansion project.

Shares of JSW Steel Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 637.35 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 632.05. The total number of shares traded during the day was 403907 in over 9856 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 642.65 and intraday low of 622.40. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 255076497.00.
