XL Telecom & Energy allots 134291 Equity Shares

XL Telecom & Energy Ltd has announced that a Committee of the Board of Directors at the meeting held on December 10, 2010 have allotted 1,34,291 (One lacs Thirty Four Thousand Two Hundred Ninety One only) Equity Shares of Rs. 10/- each of the Company at a premium of Rs. 150/- per share to Goldman Sachs Investments (Mauritius) I Ltd.' upon conversion of Foreign Currency Convertible Bonds to the extent of US$ 0.54 million.

Consequently, the paid up Equity Share Capital of the Company has been increased from 22640106 Equity Shares of Rs. 10/- each to 22774397 Equity Shares of Rs. 10/- each.

The stock closed the day at Rs.23.65, up by Rs.0.10 or 0.42%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.24.40 and low of Rs.21.25.

The total traded quantity was 1.73 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 1.71 lakhs.
