Hindalco Industries allots 38700 Equity Shares

Hindalco Industries Ltd has announced that the Committee of Directors vide their resolution dated December 06, 2010 has allotted 38,700 equity shares of par value of Re. 1/- to the optionee as detailed in the resolution, pursuant to the exercise of the options granted to the employees under the Company's Employee Stock Option Scheme, 2006.

The stock closed the day at Rs.221.30, up by Rs.5.80 or 2.69%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.224.55 and low of Rs.216.50.

The total traded quantity was 10.57 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 8.47 lakhs.
