Grasim Industries allots 1960 Shares under Employee Stock Option Scheme, 2006

Grasim Industries Ltd has announced that the Shareholders Grievance / Allotment & Transfer Committee of the Board of Directors of the Company has allotted 1,960 (One Thousand Nine Hundred and Sixty) Equity Shares on November 30, 2010 under the Company's Employee Stock Option Scheme, 2006. The said 1,960 Shares shall rank pari passu with the existing equity shares of the Company in all respects.

On allotment, the equity share capital of the Company stands increased to 9,16,95,016 equity shares of Rs. 10/- each aggregating to Rs. 91,69,50,160.

The stock closed the day at Rs.2310.85, up by Rs.39.85 or 1.75%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.2320 and low of Rs.2270.

The total traded quantity was 6414 compared to 2 week average of 9862.
