Ridgeback Capital Investment LLC picks up stake in Granules India

Granules India Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on February 25, 2007, has considered and approved issue of 22,11,200 equity shares of Rs 10/- each fully paid-up at Rs 105.50 per share (including premium) to Ridgeback Capital Investment LLC, or their affiliates on preferential basis, subject to the approval of the shareholders at the Extra Ordinary General Meeting to be held on March 21, 2007.
