Phillips Carbon Block allots 40,00,000 shares on conversion of warrants

Phillips Carbon Black Ltd has announced that the Allotment Committee of the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on January 29, 2007 has allotted 40,00,000 equity shares out of conversion of preferential issue of convertible warrants to the following Promoters Group Companies:

1. Adorn Investments Ltd - 12,00,000 shares
2. Universal Industrial Fund Ltd - 10,00,000 shares
3. Off-Shore India Ltd - 8,00,00 shares

Lend Lease Company (India) Ltd - 10,00,000 shares
