Heritage Foods Ltd receives 'Best Environmental Award' for Narketpally Plant

The Narketpally Plant of Heritage Foods Ltd has been conferred with the "Best Environmental Award" by the Telangana Pollution Control Board, Government of Telangana, on the occasion of World Environment Day on June 5, 2026.

The award was presented by Mrs. Konda Surekha, Hon'ble Minister for Forest, Environment and Endowments, Government of Telangana, in recognition of the plant's continuous contribution towards environmental conservation and sustainability. The award was received on behalf of the Company by Mr. L. Srinivas, Head - Operations of the Company.

The award acknowledges the plant's sustained efforts in implementing Zero Waste practices, Circular Economy procedures, modern energy conservation systems, and various sustainability initiatives aimed at protecting and preserving the environment.

The recognition reflects the organization's strong commitment towards environmental protection and sustainable development.

Shares of Heritage Foods Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 320.45 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 322.90. The total number of shares traded during the day was 13817 in over 554 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 327.00 and intraday low of 319.25. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 4433176.00.
