Explosion at Solar Industries India Ltd's factory at Chakdoh, Bazargoan, Nagpur

An explosion incident has occurred today i.e December 17, 2023 at around 9:00 a.m. in one of Solar Industries India Limited's processes Building No. HRCPCH-2 (Pallet Casting House).

The incident has resulted in loss of lives of 9 workmen working in the plant. The Company deeply mourns this loss of life and stands with the family of the deceased in this moment of grief.

The company has also intimated the concerned departments and statutory authorities. The incident is being investigated for all the root and contributory causes and corrective and preventive actions to be implemented.

As far as financial impact is concerned, the loss is limited to this one particular building only.

Shares of Solar Industries India Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 6878.95 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 6801.40. The total number of shares traded during the day was 7765 in over 1757 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 6933.65 and intraday low of 6781.20. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 53368452.00.
