Antony Waste Handling Cell Limited has provided business update for the quarter ended September 30, 2021 ("Q2 FY22"):
- Since the beginning of the financial year 2021-22 ("FY22"), we have seen some revival in economic activities across various geographies, with the pace of growth differing significantly from region to region. This was confirmed in Q2 FY22, with tonnage improving in line with the unlocking measures and resultant commercial activities being initiated in regions in which AWHCL (and its subsidiaries) operate.
- Total Operating Revenue (tipping revenue from C&T, Mechanical Power Sweeping and Waste Processing) has shown a growth of around 9% for Q2 FY22 as compared to Q1 FY22 (sequentially). On a YoY basis, core operating revenues have risen by around 33%.
- Total tonnage handled by the Collection & Transportation business (excluding those projects with fixed shifts/trips) in Q2 FY22 has reported around 12% growth over Q1 FY22 sequentially (around 20% YOY), while total waste processed by the Company during Q2 FY22, has improved by around +4% sequentially and YoY around 12%.
- Total compost sales during Q2 FY22 stood at 2,908 tons as compared to 4,850 tons in Q1 FY22 and 3,327 tons in Q2 FY21.
The above information is on consolidated basis and subject to a limited review by the management team. The Company will continue to provide the above update at the end of every quarter for the current financial year.
