Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Company Ltd to raise Rs. 10000 crores

The Board of Directors of Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Company Ltd at its meeting held on April 29, 2016, has approved the issue of Non-convertible Debentures / Half yearly information on the listed debentures.

The board approved the recommendation for issuance of Secured NCDs / Unsecured NCDs up to Rs. 10,000 crores by way of private placement, within the overall borrowing limits of the Company subject to the approval of the shareholders at the ensuing AGM.

The Board also approved the half yearly information on the listed debentures outstanding as of March 31, 2016 in accordance with 52(4) of the Listing Regulations.

Shares of Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Company Ltd was last trading in BSE at Rs.799.9 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 797.95. The total number of shares traded during the day was 2380 in over 173 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 805 and intraday low of 790. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 1897148.
