Reliance Industries equity shareholders & creditors to approve Scheme of Amalgamation

Reliance Industries Ltd has announced that pursuant to the order made by the Hon'ble High Court of Judicature at Bombay, separate meeting of the Equity Shareholders, Secured Creditors (including Debentureholders) & Unsecured Creditors of the Company will be held on April 21, 2007, for the purpose of considering and, if thought fit, approving with or without modification(s), the Scheme of Amalgamation of Indian Petrochemicals Corporation Ltd with the Company.
