Amara Raja Energy & Mobility Reports 21% Revenue Growth in Q1 FY27; PBT Reaches ₹272 Crore

Comprehensive energy and mobility solutions provider Amara Raja Energy & Mobility Limited (BSE: 500008 | NSE: ARE&M) has announced its financial performance for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026 (Q1 FY27), achieving a 21% year-on-year expansion in operational revenue.

Key Financial Highlights

Revenue from Operations: Reached ₹4,041 crore in Q1 FY27, reflecting a robust 20.6% year-on-year growth compared to ₹3,350 crore recorded in the corresponding prior-year period (Q1 FY26). On a sequential basis, revenue increased by 16.8% from ₹3,460 crore in the preceding quarter ended March 31, 2026 (Q4 FY26).

Profit Before Exceptional Items and Tax (PBT): Came in at ₹272 crore for Q1 FY27, registering a 4.2% increase compared to ₹261 crore in Q1 FY26. Sequentially, PBT expanded by 7.9% over ₹252 crore reported in Q4 FY26.

Speaking on the results, Mr. Harshavardhana Gourineni, Executive DirectorAutomotive and Industrial, said, "We have begun FY27 on a strong note, with broadbased growth across all segments. The Automotive domestic business revenue grew over 20% year-on-year on the back of healthy OEM demand and double-digit growth in the aftermarket. Home Energy grew over 30% year-on-year, supported by a strong summer season, while the Industrial Battery business sustained momentum with UPS segment recording double digit revenue growth.

Our international business continued to face headwinds from geopolitical uncertainty and shifting global trade dynamics, and we are actively recalibrating our market and channel mix to build a more resilient export franchise."

Mr. Vikramadithya Gourineni, Executive Director - New Energy Business informed, "Strong growth in the stationary storage segment drove our volume performance during the quarter. We are steadily transforming into a fully integrated new energy company, with capabilities now spanning the entire value chain-from advanced cells and battery packs to chargers, power conversion technologies and energy storage systems; creating a strong platform for long-term growth."

Shares of Amara Raja Energy & Mobility Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 897.95 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 932.15. The total number of shares traded during the day was 209213 in over 7621 trades.

The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 942.00 and intraday low of 892.60. The net turnover during the day was Rs. 191370889.00.
