Spicejet Ltd allots 35900000 shares to Kalanithi Maran at Rs.36.48

The Allotment Committee of Board of Spicejet Ltd in its meeting held on October 13, 2011, has allotted 35,900,000 equity shares of Rs. 10 each at a premium of Rs. 26.48 to Mr. Kalanithi Maran, Promoter of the Company on preferential basis.

The stock was trading at Rs.21.05, up by Rs.0.50 or 2.43%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.21.75 and low of Rs.20.65.

The total traded quantity was 49.05 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 22.41 lakhs.
