HDFC allots 477635 shares pursuant to exercise of options under ESOS

Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd has on August 22, 2011 allotted 4,77,635 equity shares of Rs. 2 each pursuant to exercise of stock options by certain employees & directors.

Post the above allotment, the paid-up equity share capital of the Corporation would stand at Rs. 294,18,29,390 consisting of 147,09,14,695 equity shares of Rs. 2/- each.

The stock closed the day at Rs.643, up by Rs.4.20 or 0.66%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.648.40 and low of Rs.638.10.

The total traded quantity was 0.64 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 1.27 lakhs.
