Sterlite Technologies allots 130134 Shares under ESOS

The Allotment Committee of the Board of Directors of Sterlite Technologies Ltd in its meeting held on July 01, 2011 has allotted 1,30,134 equity shares to those grantees who had exercised their options under the Company's Employee Stock Option Scheme - 2006.

The aforesaid shares will rank pari passu with the existing shares of the Company in all respects.

The stock closed the day at Rs.55.25, up by Rs.1.55 or 2.89%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.55.65 and low of Rs.54.50.

The total traded quantity was 3.12 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 2.45 lakhs.
