Ashok Soota sells stake in Mind Tree for Rs.94.16 crores

Coffee Day Resorts Private Limited (acquirer) and Global Technology Ventures Limited (PAC) have acquired stake in IT company Mind Tree Limited. Global Technology Ventures Limited (PAC) who have 2648561 equity shares or 6.60% stake in the company, have acquired 2305442 equity shares or 5.745% in Mind Tree Limited in the past few days.

Global Technology Ventures Limited (PAC) have a stake of 12.35% or 4954003 equity shares in Mind Tree Limited after the recent acquisition.

The seller was Ashok Soota erstwhile promoter of Mind Tree Limited, who parted with the company to set up his own venture recently.

Ashok Soota has sold 2200000 equity shares in the company resulting in a sale value of Rs.9416 lakhs through JM Financial Services Private Limited. Ashok Soota who held 11.08% or 4443331 equity shares before the sale has 2243331 equity shares or 5.59% stake in the company after the sale.

The Mind Tree Limited stock closed the day at Rs.392.65, up by Rs.31.65 or 8.77%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.426.60 and low of Rs.364.80.

The total traded quantity was 527028 compared to 2 week average of 4059.
