Hindustan Unilever allots 578133 Equity Shares

The Committee of the Board of Directors of Hindustan Unilever Ltd in its Meeting held on June 23, 2011, has allotted 578,133 Equity Shares of Re. 1/- each under ESOP, which vide Shareholder's Resolution dated May 29, 2006 is known as "2006 HLL Performance Share Scheme".

Consequent to the above allotment, the paid-up capital of the Company has increased to 216,06,83,560 shares & the issued capital has increased to 221,38,02,536 shares.

The stock closed the day at Rs.317.60, up by Rs.5.70 or 1.83%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.318.40 and low of Rs.310.

The total traded quantity was 1.81 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 2.65 lakhs.
