Marico allots 55300 Shares under ESOP Scheme

The Members of the Corporate Governance Committee of the board of Directors of Marico Ltd have vide resolution passed through circulation on June 21, 2011 approved allotment of 55,300 equity shares of the Company of the face value of Re. 1 each under the existing Marico Employees Stock Options Scheme 2007.

Consequent to the above allotment, the paid-up share capital of the Company has increased from 61,45,61,150 equity shares of Re. 1 each aggregating Rs. 61,45,61,150 to 61,46,16,450 equity shares of Re. 1 each aggregating Rs. 61,46,16,450.

The stock was trading at Rs.142.60, up by Rs.2 or 1.42%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.145.80 and low of Rs.141.

The total traded quantity was 0.42 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 0.69 lakhs.
