HDFC allots 1911375 shares pursuant to exercise of options under ESOS

Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd has on June 14, 2011 allotted 19,11,375 equity shares of Rs. 2 each pursuant to exercise of stock options by directors and employees.

Post the above allotment, the paid-up equity share capital of the Corporation would stand at Rs. 293,98,61,400 consisting of 146,99,30,700 equity shares of Rs. 2 each.

The stock was trading at Rs.647, down by Rs.10.50 or 1.60%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.654 and low of Rs.643.

The total traded quantity was 174.89 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 1.13 lakhs.
