Lupin allots 68860 Shares

The Allotment Committee of Directors of Lupin Ltd at is meeting held on April 28, 2011 has allotted 68860 fully paid up equity shares of Rs. 2 each. These shares have been allotted upon exercising of options granted to the employees under Stock option plans of the Company.

In view of the above, the issued and paid up capital of the Company has been increased to Rs. 89,25,40,098 consisting 44,62,70,049 equity shares of Rs. 2/- each.

The stock closed the day at Rs.434.20, up by Rs.10.90 or 2.58%. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.437.65 and low of Rs.420.25.

The total traded quantity was 1.88 lakhs compared to 2 week average of 1.03 lakhs.
